Trinity College Dublin have this week started a free online history course called 'Irish Lives in War and Revolution: Exploring Ireland's History 1912-1923'.

Aimed at anyone with even a general interest in the topic is encouraged to join for free.

The six week course is aimed at providing an experience of Trinity's teaching without having to attend the university and has been designed by staff at the school of histories and humanities.

Course participants will be able to experience short lectures, using audio-visual material, directing them ro further online resources. Tests and quizzes will also be incorporated and students encouraged to debate the material on social media.
