Magherafelt Orange Museum: Seasons Through Time

Seasons Through Time celebrates the foundation of NI from a community perspective, offering others an insight by investigating our local heritage through photographs, community art, oral history and discussions on the past, this exhibition mixes academic talks, practical conservation, trad music events both live and virtual, displays and discussions. This exhibition will also instigate oral and documentary collections for archiving.

The collection of artefacts on display feature contributions on loan from local lodges, such as vintage regalia, letters from WWI, correspondence from lodges abroad, pictures of 19th century bands, security forces memorabilia.

The museum is located in Magherafelt Orange Hall, 32 Meeting St, Magherafelt. It is open every Friday night, 7.30-9.30pm and can be booked by groups for other nights, as available.

Admission to the exhibition is FREE.

A new Ulster Defence Regiment Display will be featured from November onwards.
