The first trailer has been released for Rebellion, a new television series on the 1916 Easter Rising set to be aired next year in time for the Rising's centenary. 

Produced by RTE, the five part series will follow the personal stories of those caught up in the 1916 Dublin uprising and stars Charlie Murphy, Brian Gleeson and Michelle Fairley.
