Major conference to examine upcoming events in the Decade of Centenaries

A major conference examining upcoming years in the Decade of Centenaries will take place in Belfast on November 21.

'Conflict, Polarisation and Partition – Can we build a new future from a difficult past?' is a one day event looking at best practice engagement to date and how it can be applied to difficult years ahead.

Organised and funded by the Community Relations Council, the event will feature keynote contributions from Eamon Phoenix and Marie Coleman, each exploring complexities from the period 1917 - 1923.

A series of case studies from projects across Northern Ireland will follow, showcasing best areas of best practice, what's worked well and where the challenges have lain.

Registration for the event is free and participation is encouraged by anyone with an interest in work around the Decade of Centenaries.
