The first James Connolly Festival will take place in Dublin this May with a mix of cultural events including music, theatre, poetry, film, debates and much more.

Organised by The Socialist Voice in conjunction with The New Theatre, the week long festival will also facilitate debate around contemporary politics. 

Taking place from May 4 - May 10, the programme will feature music, film and arts strands with contemporary artists from across Ireland taking part.

There will also be an education strand as well as film and literature events.
