Disabled artists use film to explore First World War themes

A series of short films made by disabled artists, with funding and support from the 14-18 NOW project, explore society's attitudes to disability following the First World War.

Almost two million British servicement returned from the war with a disability of some kind forcing society to accept their new status.

The films include a reimagining of a wartime hospital, a music video and a solo perfomance, among others.
