Derry and Strabane council offers free Dublin residential

Derry City and Strabane District Council's Good Relations Team are organising a free Good Relations Dialogue Tour and Residential to Dublin this June and July.

The initiative will bring together people from diverse identities to visit sites associated with WWI, Easter 1916 and the Irish Civil War.

Visits to sites during the residential on June 30 and July 1 include Islandbridge, Kilmainham Gaol and Arbour Hill.

An introductory session will take place on June 25, on topics to be addressed during the visit.

The two day dialogue and tour based residential is funded by OFMDFM's Good Relations Unit with a maximum of two places available per group and is prioritised for adults based within the council area who work or volunteer with local community groups.

Registrations for the course must be submitted by June 17. Contact Jenny McClelland for more information: jenny.mcclelland@derrycityandstrabanedistrict.com
