Decade of Anniversaries toolkit goes digital

A toolkit offering advice, tips and case studies around planning an event within the Decade of Centenaries has been transformed into an online, digital resource.

Developed in 2013 by the Community Relations Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Decade of Anniversaries toolkit offered a first hand account of commemorating events within the decade.

Sections within the resource included 'What is Commemoration', how to 'Plan Your own Project' and 'Lessons and Tips'.

An extensive case study collection also looked in depth at a large number of events and projects that had explored the Decade of Centenaries, including what they thought worked well and what didn't.

Redesigned as an online resource, the purpose of the toolkit is to equip projects and organisations with the skills and research they need to carry out their own plans around remaining anniversaries within the decade.

As an ever-growing site, the toolkit is keen to continually add to and update case studies from throughout the decade period. If you would like to add your event or project to the case study section, please email: info@creativecentenaries.org
