Changing landscapes of First World War

A series of photographs made by photographer Peter MacDiarmid show the impact the First World War had on important locations across Europe.

Overlaying iconic stock images from the time with modern versions of the same location, including the Basilica of Notre-Dame (above), the photographer aims to give a sense of how much or how little has changed since The Great War.
