The people behind the Century Ireland website have launched a new web service focussed on the Gallipoli campaign of the First World War.

Taking place between April 25, 1915 and January 9, 1916, the battle involved many nations across the world, including thousands of Irish men.

The site goes into detail on various aspects of life on the peninsula and explores the Irish experience of Gallipoli through diary accounts from eyewitnesses for each day of the campaign

Videoes, guides, news trackers and educational resources and packs complete the site.
