About this Event
At 1pm on Sunday 11 July Galway County Council presents a centenary lecture to mark 100 years since the Truce was signed between British and Irish forces, bringing an end to the War of Independence.
The lecture will be given by Dr Conor McNamara, historian-in-residence with Galway County Council.
The lecture will be premiering on Galway Beo's Facebook page and Galway Beo's YouTube channel.
