This project was funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council to explore the historical context of the partition of Ireland and resulting inter-communal violence in the 'two Irelands'. A series of podcasts based on lectures delivered at Queen's was made available on the historyhub.ie website.

What worked well and what, if anything, didn't?

Among the most innovative aspects were examining international contexts and parallels, such as the Finnish Civil War of 1918, and questioning the problematic nature of historical memory and commemoration.
