PRONI's guide to First World War sources

PRONI, the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland, has published its guide to the manuscript for the Study of the First World War.

This comprehensive document will help guide users to a wealth of papers, volumes, letters, images and scrapbooks relating to the First World War which are held within the collections at PRONI.

PRONI holds millions of documents, chiefly relating to Northern Ireland, that date as far back as 1600. Records fall within two main categories of public records and privately deposited archives.

Anyone can visit PRONI and look at the records at any time and admission is free.
