Partition - A Journey Through the Archives Graphic Novel

The latest of 14 graphic novel resources, 'Partition — A Journey Through the Archives' explores the history of the partition of Ireland from 1920-1922 using archive collections from institutions across the island of Ireland as a means of exploring our past, and showing its complexity.

Developed by the Nerve Centre's Creative Centenaries project, the short story charts a young girls journey through the archives as she explores the road to partition through documents, photographs and other ephemera.

The novel has been designed with an education pack for use at a Key Stage Three audience with background information, maps, a glossary and interactive learning tasks all built in.
