About this Event

The Military Archives and the Military History Society of Ireland present a two-day online conference, 'The Military Aspects of the War of Independence, 1919-1921'. Taking place on 9 and 10 July from 9am-5pm, the conference brings together historians, archivists and academics to explore the military aspects of the conflict, and the sources available for understanding this period.

There is no registration required for the conference. The panels are live from 9am on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 July, hosted on Microsoft Teams. You can join the two sessions from the links below. The full programme is available to view below.
