Creative Centenaries announces programme call
With the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, Creative Centenaries is embarking on a major cultural heritage programme throughout 2016.
The project will explore the events of 1916 through a three tiered approach - an exhibition will open in Derry~Londonderry, Belfast and Dublin; an events programme will work across the creative and cultural bases at key points throughout the year and an outreach strand will delivercreative and digital workshops on the ground in local communities.
As well as pulling together its own activity, Creative Centenaries will highlight the work taking place across Northern Ireland to address 1916 and the Decade of Centenaries.
We want to hear from you!
Through its website and programme, Creative Centenaries aims to collate and promote events and programmes taking place relevant to 1916 and the Decade of Centenaries.
You may be planning your own local exhibition on how the year impacted your area. Perhaps you're organising a talk or lecture on local involvement at the Somme. Or staging a night of music and poetry around the leaders of the Easter Rising.
In order to submit an event for inclusion in the Creative Centenaries programme, you can fill out the interactive form below. Alternatively you can email details of your event or programme to: firstname.lastname@example.org
