Mid Ulster District Council is organising a series of talks around the Decade of Anniversaries (1912-1923).
The series of talks and discussions deal with the historical facts that mark the key shifts in society that happened during this turning point in history and give meaning to the events that happened across the divide, helping to promote a deeper understanding of our shared history and culture.
This talk from Fearghal Mac Bhioscaidh will focus on political parties in Tyrone after the Easter Rising. It will examine the coalition of republican and constitutional tendencies that came together before the 1918 general election and explain the political landscape at this time.
