Craigavon Museum Services exhibition ‘Taking liberties; the women’s fight for the vote’ exhibition has been invited to accompany the Processions 2018 Banner Exhibition at Millennium Court Arts Centre in Portadown.
This exhibition details the struggle and hardships of women in their quest to gain the right to vote; concentrating on the local story, social changes, women and the war and the lasting legacy.
'Taking Liberties' is small travelling exhibition within the new Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council areas, to include community centres, libraries, town halls along with Armagh County Museum. This exhibition is the last Craigavon Museum Services will be presenting under the ''Living with WW1'' programme, which has been funded by Heritage Lottery N. Ireland.

The exhibition is free to attend and runs until July 25. The Exhibition Opening is on Friday, July 6 at 7-9pm.
