A musical event will be held at Newry & Mourne Museum on December 12 to mark the centenary of the Christmas Truce.
Entitled 'World War One: Soldiers in the Trenches and the Christmas Truce of 1914' will feature songs from the period sung by Fiona Flynn and Aaron O'Hare, with Gerry Doherty as pianist.
Fiona is a soprano with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Aaron is from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, with experience of working with a number of companies in Ireland.
In between the songs, the museum's First World War Project Officer will speak about aspects of the war and the remarkable true account of Christmas 1914.
