An event will take place at the Ulster Hall in Belfast to mark the 100 year anniversary of an address from suffrage leader Emmeline Pankhurst.

A screening called 'Make More Noise: Suffragettes in Silent Film' will be set against a live piano accompaniment from Lilian Henley.

Inspired by Pankhurst, this special screening presents over 20 silent archive films from the BFI combining gloriously anarchic comedies, newsreels and rarely seen footage with a specially commissioned score by Lillian Henley, performed live.

Tickets for the event cost £8 and can be purchased HERE.
