Poet Laureate Sinead Morrissey and novelist Glen Patterson will bring personal accounts from the First World War to life with an evening of 'Poetry 'N Pints' at Donaghadee.

Featuring the words of Siegfried Sassoon, Edward Thomas and Wilfred Owen among many others, the evening will recount real-life experiences on the front. 

Organised by Ards Borough Councl, there will also be readings given by local writers and members of the community, including the Mayor, Councillor Philip Smith.
