East Belfast and the Great War project are hosting a 'Military Antiques Roadshow' on February 7, and are encouraging local people to get involved.
Organisers want to hear from people who may have had a family member who served in the First World War and to explore artefacts that may have belonged to them and their stories.
With the support of Living Legacies 1914-1918, the event will see stories and items digitally catalogued in order to tell the full story of those who fought from East Belfast.
The event will also include a chance to view a documentary, 'The Boys from East Belfast', and to hear presentations from Jason Burke and Sandy Smith on 'Strandtown and the Great War' and the story of C.S. Lewis and the Great War, respectively.
