An event will take place at Duncairn Community Centre on Thursday, June 25 to launch a new First World War inspired mural with images from the years 1912-1918.
The mural reflects the different ways in which people's lives changed during the period, depicting images from home and the battlefield.
A range of perspectives are included in the new piece, including the role of women on the home front, shipyard strikes and the work of soldiers who were employed to make crosses to mark the graves of men who died.
The unveiling will be followed by a piece of interactive drama from 'Medal in the Drawer', a play by Brenda Winter-Palmer.
The event will begin at 6.30pm and anyone is welcome to attend.
