Joyeux Noel, the 2005 film depicting the Christmas Truce of 1914, will be screened at the Strand Arts Centre on Tuesday 9 December.
The charity screening depicts the events of December 1914 through the eyes of French, Scottish and German soldiers who are said to have put their differences aside for Christmas Eve and called a ceasefire, sharing songs and gifts with those who they had been fighting against. Games of football are also said to have taken place on no-man's-land.
Tickets for the screening are available to purchase now. Click here for more information.
