Did a member of your family serve in the First World War? Were they involved in work in the fields or the factory? Do you have any artefacts that belonged to them, or want to share their story?

East Belfast & The Great War would like to meet you. With the support of Living Legacies 1914-1918, your stories and artefacts will be digitally catalogued and contribute to telling the story of East Belfast's Great War.

The event will also include:

1.30pm 'East Belfast Voices from the Great War': A presentation by Jason Burke, East Belfast & The Great War Project Co-Ordinator

2.30pm'Commemoration during the Decade of Centenaries': A presentation by Jonathan Evershed, PhD Candidate in the School of History and Anthropology at Queen's University Belfast and East Belfast & The Great War Project Volunteer

Nigel Henderson from HistoryHub Ulster will be available throughout the afternoon to provide tips and pointers on conducting you own First World War family research.
