Donegal County Museum's majoe new exhibition, 'Remembering World War One - The Donegal Story', will run until the end of April 2015.
Split across two levels, the ground floor exhibition tells the story of the First World War through the experiences of Donegal men and women both at home and abroad, including their experiences in countries such as Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
Upstairs a further three exhibitions concern the conflict. A room full of individual stories of Donegal men during the war sits alongside Jimmy Duffin's 'Forgotten Sons' exhibition and another by the Donegal Intercultural Platform looking at stories of other countries' involvement.
Schools and groups are invited to attend for a free tour and a accompanying work booklet has also been developed.
Admission to the exhibition is free and runs until the end of April 2015. For details and booking, email: firstname.lastname@example.org or tel: 00353 7491 24613
