The exhibition explores the seismic events of the Battle of the Somme and the Easter Rising, presenting the local and national reaction a century ago and, through an international lens of war and revolution, highlights their interconnected nature.

It also examines the role these events and their commemoration have played in the shaping of our identities.

An accompanying programme of exhibition workshops and volunteer led interpretative mini-bus tours will be available.  Places are limited and booking is essential.

This exhibition is being delivered through 'On the Brink: The Politics of Conflict 1914-16', a three year project, funded by Heritage Lottery Fund and delivered by Mid-Antrim Museums Service with Causeway Museum Service.
