The Good Relations Team at Castlereagh Borough Council have announced plans for a six week programme of workshops entitled 'Educating Ourselves'.
Run in conjunction with the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland, the programme will look at key events in the history of Ireland, including those within the Decade of Centenaries, in order for participants to increase their understanding of shared culture.
Events and topics covered will include the Battle of the Boyne and the Home Rule crisis.
The programme will begin on Thursday, January 22 and will take place at the Enler Community Centre, Ballybeen weekly at 7.30pm.
