A public discussion will take place at The Bridewell Centre in Magherafelt on November 12 looking at the involvement of Irish nationalists in the First World War. 

Titled 'Where Stands The Irish Left Today?', the event will feature the viewpoints of John Douglas (President of Irish Congress of Trade Unions), Chris Hazzard MLA, Linda Walker (Communist Party of Ireland) and John McCallister MLA.

The event has been organised by County Derry Centenaries Group. The event begins at 7.30pm sharp and anyone everyone is welcome to attend
