A one day conference will take place at Maynooth University on November 14, examining how the Protestant communuty in Ireland experienced 1916 and the turbulent years that followed.

The conference programme will cover topics such as the effect of 1916 on the Protestant psyche in Ireland, a look at the emerging modern Ireland and how political upheavals that occurred in Ireland impacted on all segments of society. 

Speakers include Professor Robby Cowie, Ben Levitas and Dr Miriam Moffitt and the event is being organised by Journey in Self Belief.
