The Somme Museum, in conjunction with the University of Ulster, will host its annual 'A' Level History conference in March.

The aim of the Conference is to be an academic update to parts of the CCEA ‘A’ Level Specification and also to provide a guide to students about examination answering.

Taking place on March 8 and 9, this year's conference will see a talk on the 'Partition of Ireland' from Dr Russell Rees and another on 'Germany' from Dr Robert McNamara.

Creative Centenaries will also take part in the event, showcasing its innovative resources around the First World War and 1916.

Each day commences at 10.30am and runs until 2.30pm with a charge of £8 per student. Registration is essential. For more information contact enquiry.shc@hotmail.co.uk
