As part of our ongoing work to remember and commemorate the hugely significant events of 1916 Fermanagh & Omagh Museum Services is running an event focusing on local, personal stories.

The day will see a series of speakers address many of the themes related to the time in the context of local people and events. Speakers include: Dr Éamon Phoenix, Seamas Mac Annaidh, Joanna McVey, Tracey McRory, (harpist) and Richard Bennett.

The day has strong links with the Museum Services ongoing Peace Studies programme with St Michael’s & Portora. Students from both schools will be speaking on the day.

This event is organised by Fermanagh & Omagh Museum Services.
