Enjoy a free walking tour of sites of interest in Belfast related to 1916, delivered by PLACE NI. 

A century ago the impact of both the Easter Rising and the Battle of the Somme were felt throughout Ulster, particularly in Belfast. 

This walking tour will explore Belfast's connections to these historic events, from the Belfast woman who brought a typewriter and a Webley revolver into the heart of the Easter Rising to finding out what connects Robinson & Cleaver and the Somme's Ulster Memorial Tower.

This free tour last 1.5 hours and leave from PLACE (7-9 Lower Garfield Street, Belfast) at 1pm.
