A 'Bushmills and the Great War' exhibition begins in Bushmills Community Centre on July 1, marking the day 26 men from the area lost their lives at the Battle of the Somme.
Among those involved on that day was Robert Quigg who won the Victoria Cross for bravery while searching for local man Sir Harry MacNaghten.
Included in the exhibition will be a number of never before seen artefacts including medals won by local men. Speakers are also due to attend during the course of the exhibition and offer further insight into the conflict and the local people involved.
The exhibition runs daily from 10am to 7pm and on Sundays from 2pm to 5pm. Admission is free.
